Award winning filmmaker Paul Stone is a born storyteller known for his cinematic, raw and emotive human portraits across commercials, documentary, and film. Paul’s last three films world premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival. His films have also been selected as Vimeo Staff Picks three times.

He has been featured in Adweek, Shots Magazine, Shoot Magazine, Boards Magazine, The Huffington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic Monthly, Paste Magazine, Filmmaker Magazine, IndieWire Magazine, multiple Vimeo Staff Picks, and Short of the Week.

 His short film Big Elvis world premiered in competition at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, was featured on Short of the Week, and is currently being developed as a feature film.

Stone’s short film Mulberry world premiered in competition at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, and had its web premiere on the Vimeo Staff Pick curated documentary channel.

His previous short film, Man Under, had its World Premiere in competition at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, Won Best Documentary at the Miami Film Festival, followed by a West Coast premiere at the 2015 Palm Springs Film Festival, then on to D.C. Shorts, Tacoma, Hot Springs, and DOC NYC. Man Under premiered on the internet on Short of the Week.

More short films followed, including The Prince of Elizabeth Street and The Boombox Project, which found its way into LA’s Grammy Museum and selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick.

His first short film, Tales of Times Square, won the Best Short Documentary Award at multiple film festivals and went on to screen at over 50 film festivals in the U.S. and abroad.

His debut feature film was shot in the U.S. and Africa. The film will be released in the Spring of 2019.
